Briefly discribe the images found on your artifacts

The Copón was covered with religious imagry while the mancerina was simpler.  The mancerina only had simple patterns and pictures.

Make sketches of the images found on your artifacts

List the various images found on your artifacts and determine their meaning

The Rose: The Virgen de Guadalupe

The Heart: Faith

The Tablets: The Ten Commandments

The Lamb: Jesus Christ

The Dove: The Holy Spirit

Heaven:  The place where God lives

Together these symbols represent the ritual of the last supper.

Create a hypothesis about where this object may have been found and who it may have been belonged to

The Copón would have been found in a church, as it would have been used during the ritual of the last supper.

The Mancerina could have been used anywhere and most likely belonged to a rich person who could afford to own one made of silver.

What, if anything, was similiar amongst all the artifacts examined

Many of the artifacts we examined contained scratches.  At first we thought that these scratches could mean that the pieces were all made by one person, but we later realized that they could have been made by collectors trying to verify the silver content of the pieces.
